Christian Pulisic must leave Chelsea right away! Stamford Extension bazaar is just harming USMNT star’s vocation
The Blues may want to sell the winger this summer to raise money, but the American might also benefit from leaving. For months, tabloids have said that Chelsea are ready to let go of Christian Pulisic. In the wake of Chelsea’s recent nine-figure spending spree, American players have been frequently mentioned as one of the many players the club could sell to raise much-needed funds.
However, if they did so, the star of the U.S. men’s national team would probably benefit from it.
Pulisic appears to stand to gain the most from the end of this partnership, given what Chelsea has demonstrated in recent months.
Since joining the Blues, the 24-year-old has unimaginable heights, there is no doubt about that. He has grown as a player, won a Champions League final, scored against Real Madrid in a European semi-final, and led his nation at a World Cup.
However, he has also stood by as Chelsea has stumbled from mess to mess. The club’s instability was supposed to end with Roman Abramovich’s forced departure; however, life at Stamford Bridge has now become more unstable than ever.
Chelsea still has a long way to go, as Graham Potter’s dismissal after less than seven months in charge demonstrates. An additional manager, reset, and rebuild are on the way.
And given everything Todd Boehly has shown the Blues, Pulisic probably needs to move on to a club where life can be a little bit more stable than at Stamford Bridge instead of fighting a losing battle.
