Andre Onana joins Manchester United from Inter Milan

The centre-back will join United on a five-year contract until June 2028 with an option for a further year.

Onana’s arrival will be a huge boost for manager Eric ten Haag. He prefers his team to play from behind and Cameroon players are very accustomed to having the ball at their feet.

Onana joined the Dutch team at the age of 18 in 2015 and spent seven seasons in Amsterdam before joining Inter in 2022.
